HR ASSOCIATE - RECRUITMENT & TRAINING
 
POSITION SUMMARY
 
The HR Associate - Recruitment and Training is responsible for supporting the end-to-end recruitment process and facilitating employee training and development programs. The role also assists in employee onboarding, documentation, and handling disciplinary actions when necessary. This position plays a key part in ensuring that the organization attracts, develops, and retains qualified and productive employees, while also supporting broader HR functions.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Recruitment
Coordinate and execute the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, and job offers.
Communicate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and job requirements.
Maintain and update applicant databases and recruitment records.
Assist in identifying training needs in coordination with department heads and performance reviews.
Organize internal and external training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
Prepare training materials and manage training logistics (venue, attendance, equipment).
Track and document employee participation and feedback in training programs.
Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires including orientation programs, document processing, and systems setup.
Assist in documenting incidents, violations, and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policy.
Participate in administrative hearings or investigations as needed.
Help maintain proper records of disciplinary proceedings for audit and compliance purposes.
Support employee relations initiatives and address employee concerns as required.
Maintain and update employee files and records, both digital and physical.
Assist in the implementation and monitoring of HR policies and procedures.
Participate in employee engagement activities, performance appraisal support, and compliance reporting.
Provide general support to other HR functions as needed (e.g., payroll coordination, benefits processing).
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or any related field.
Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in recruitment and/or training.
Skills:
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); HRIS experience is a plus
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in sensitive situations
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
