This is an opportunity to join an energetic team with a collaborative management group and work with affordable housing providers. New team members receive in-depth training to prepare them for their role. The Inspections Coordinator will schedule all inspection types in accordance with the U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) rules and regulations and the Housing Authority's administrative plan. The Inspections Coordinator will also be responsible to provide administrative support for the inspection's customer service call center. The candidate will use CGI's propriety IT systems as well as the Microsoft Office Suite to accomplish day-to-day tasks. Your future duties and responsibilities: Responsible for scheduling housing inspections of assisted housing properties, discussing with owners and participants inspection results, communicating the status of inspections to the client and providing superior customer service in general. Specific duties include but are not limited to: . Ensure that all assigned inspections are conducted timely and cited HQS violations are brought into compliance within given timeframes by reviewing the daily SEMAP violations report. . Call Center duties - answering inbound questions and concerns. . Respond to all of the customer's inquiries utilizing all available resources and program knowledge researching and exploring answers. . Identify and escalate unresolved inquiries to management. . Accurately and thoroughly record all interactions in the system of record. . Manage customer interactions to achieve a high degree of customer satisfaction. . Verify and update customer information. . Identify and escalate priority issues. . Provide excellent customer service to participants, landlords, co-workers, clients, vendors and all stakeholders. . Monitor, record, and disseminate mail and email correspondence for the team members, as needed assist in the preparation of mass mailings. . Coordinate the inspection activities with the participant and landlord, i.e. scheduling, abatement, extensions. Perform rent reasonableness determinations in an accurate and timely manner. . Educate program participants, appropriate agencies, and the general public concerning HQS and specific regulations, policies and procedures. . Research and respond to inquiries regarding HQS, rent reasonableness determinations and other inspection related matters. . Participate effectively within and across teams to problem solve and to deliver quality service to owners and participants. . Work closely with team members to provide a high level of customer service and document all notes pertaining to phone calls and emails in the CGI's proprietary systems. . Provide feedback to the Supervisor on process improvements and potential increased efficiencies. . Perform related duties as assigned by the Supervisor and provide staff coverage as needed. . Participate in ongoing Team meetings and take the minutes for distribution. . Escalate all issues that need immediate Supervisory attention. . Ensure adherence to all policy and procedures. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . High School diploma required (Associate's Degree preferred). .
