HOTEL RECEPTIONIST
 
Job Description
Answers incoming telephone calls from prospective and existing guests
Entertains and receives customers warmly with a smile
Maintains the cleanliness, scent, and coolness of the reception area.
Customer service and front desk operations
Assists guests with hotel reservations
Complete basic cashiering and bookkeeping responsibilities
Handles check-in and out procedures efficiently, especially on check-in and check-out time, key cards, and remote controls
Book and schedule conference rooms. Inform them of the facilities such as laundry, massage, salon, coffee shop and grocery
Assigns rooms and suites to guests
Monitor and update guest accounts
Process credit card transactions for lodging, room service and other hotel costs
From time to time should inspect the inside of the hotel whether the linens, towels pillow cases, and others are clean. This should be done daily and with housekeeping in the area.
Hear the complaints and inquiries of the customer and should act on it accordingly.
Transfers phone calls to guest rooms
Provides guests with wake-up phone calls
Assists with guest requests and complaints
Maintains accurate records of guest charges (room service, pay-per-view, spa services, etc.)
Liaised with other departments in the hotel
Shall direct the housekeeping/guard and or other personnel in the building on his/her job.
Report any problems that may arise to the supervisor for proper action be it in the maintenance or others
Perform other tasks as directed by the management
Qualifications/Requirements:
Preferably Female
Graduate in Hospitality Management or any related course
Experience is an advantage but not necessary
Customer service skills
Pleasant demeanor when interacting with hotel guests
Has excellent communications skill
Possess strong organizational skills
Ability to Multitask skills
Problem-solving
Unquestionable integrity
Honest and can work with less supervision
Willingness to learn hotel computer system/software
Willingness to accept additional task as assigned by management
