HOTEL HANDYMAN / MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Job Summary:
 
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Hotel Handyman to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of performing a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks to ensure our hotel remains a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC).
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and service calls from hotel staff or guests.
Conduct regular inspections of property grounds, building systems, and equipment to identify and address potential issues.
Maintain and repair hotel assets.
Ensure safety standards and building codes are met; report major issues to management.
Maintain inventory of maintenance tools and supplies; notify management of items needing restock or replacement.
Assist in setting up or moving furniture and equipment as needed for hotel events or functions.
Coordinate with third-party vendors and contractors for specialized repairs.
Document maintenance work and keep accurate records of completed tasks and materials used.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools.
