HIV / AIDS CORE TEAM (HACT) NURSE
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Maintaining accurate, complete patient records and reports
Updates facility dashboard on a monthly basis
In-charge of nursing management of client
Assist the HACT Physician and/ or medical provider with the Medical Management of clients including initiation to anti-retroviral therapy and management of adverse reactions and/ or opportunistic infections
Facilitates the provision of in-house treatment hub services including laboratory workups and medications
Provides pre- and post-test counseling
Ensures implementation of infection control guidelines
Other functions assigned by the HACT Physician/ Medical Director
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a Registered Nurse
At least 1 year of experience with HIV Programs/ trained in HIV Counselling and Client-Centered Case
