The role is focused on maintaining our Kubernetes infrastructure and help us with the transition from legacy infrastructure into Kubernetes. Required Skills and Qualifications The duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgement. Below you will find a list of some of the key duties and responsibilities:. Provision new tenants . Keep production services running (bring them up in emergency situations). Monitor, test and do on-going support of existing applications, as well as help developers to deploy new services inside cluster . Install regular updates and keep systems up to date. Develop, test and document new system features, for example by writing Ansible scripts and/or Ruby/Python code . DBA responsibilities. Backups . Disaster recovery . Document existing or new system implementations Skills and Experience Below is a list of the required experience, skills and qualifications that will allow you to be successful in this role. . Kubernetes experience. Strong experience with OpenStack and Linux/Unix . Strong experience with Experience and reasonable understanding of firewalls, load-balancers, general networking concepts, components and processes. Docker, OpenStack, Ansible, CoreOS, Helm . Fluentd/Fluentbit, Terraform, Etcd, Elasticsearch, S3/Swift, Redis, Sphinx, Postfix. Knowledge of any modern programming language (Ruby/JavaScript/Python) . The ability to communicate with and influence all levels of stakeholders. Bonus points for: . Cyber security experience.
