Job Description
Provide chronic hemodialysis therapy including but not limited to: formulating a dialysis plan for ultra-filtration, initiating dialysis via various accesses, complying with the safety measures, and monitoring patient vital signs applicable to ESRD p
Administer medications, fluid therapy or other appropriate treatments per physician orders and documents them in the patient medical records
Perform patient assessment, review dialysis orders, determine general physical and mental condition of patient through observations and interview, assist in determining compliance to dietary or medication regimen, and document all observations in the
Assess and monitor status of vascular accesses, review laboratory works, and report any relevant changes or abnormalities to the physician. Teaches patients and significant others how to manage their post-treatment home care needs, self-administrat
Reports to: Nephrologist and Unit Head Nurse
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Prof'l License(Passed Board/Bar/Prof'l License Exam) holder.
With at least 2 years experience or more working as full time Hemodialysis nurse and at least 1-2 years work experience as a Staff Nurse in a hospital (secondary or tertiary type hospital)
Preferred but not required: has worked as a nurse in Saudi before; Muslim or non-Muslim religion
Must show Certificate of Employment / Experience Certificate(s
With Basic Life Support (BLS) training
Preferred: With Dataflow for Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (positive report)
Additional Information:
