Job Description
Repair and maintenance of diesel engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions & braking systems of heavy trucks
Repair and maintenance of both pneumatic and cylinders, valves & control systems
Perform basic electrical repairs and repair/replace broken or disfunctional parts
Travel to clients locations and perform required maintenance activities
Perform inspections on allocated cranes/equipment/trucks/light/ vehicle for repair to ensure complete and progressive preventive maintenance of the same
Perform main component overhauling e.g., engine, transmission, hydraulic pumps
Perform preventing maintenance on heavy and light vehicles, cranes, and aerial work platforms
Adhere to an inspection procedure checklist and preventive maintenance guidelines
Ensure the cleanliness of workshop and work area
Adhere to Safe work procedure and complete risk assessment before commencing any work
Identify and diagnose parts of the replacement worn parts and equipment for repairs
Determines equipment condition by conducting inspection and diagnostic test
Carry out all scheduled PM activities on the AMHEC equipment (i.e. Crane, Wheel loaders, Forklift, man lifts, generators backhoe, loaders, tower light, trucks, vehicles..etc.) including replacement all type of oils, filter, greasing, visual
Correct equipment deficiencies if exist along with preventing maintenance service
Performed adjustments to various equipment's systems during preventive maintenance service
Maintaining detailed records of servicing equipment
Report daily report to direct manager regarding status of allocated work
Keep direct manager informed whenever found any issue with the equipment
Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned by his/her direct management
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
Male applicants are preferred for this role.
High School Technical Diploma or equivalent
Experience on lifting & Heavy Equipment e.g., mobile/crawling/rough terrain cranes, aerial work platform, wheel loaders, forklift, generators, tower lights, trucks, vehicles and backhoe.
Familiar with Tadano, Liebherr, RTC & ATC crane brands
Diesel Engines, Hydraulics, Pneumatic, Schematics, reading for troubleshooting
Basic electrical knowledge, Hand & Power Tool skills, Driving license is a plus
Read, Write & Speak English Language
Knowledge in preparing reports and keep logs on work issues
Working knowledge of basic hydraulic and electrical circuit
