Job Description
• Correctly applies and initiates Holter Monitor.
• Performs electrocardiograms (ECGs), Treadmills Stress Test.
• Accurately applies and records ECGs.
• Correctly prepares and monitors patients during Stress/Exercise Testing
• Efficiently distributes Heart Station reports per department procedure
• Maintains accurate log of all Heart Station procedures
• Maintains accurate log of all transcriptions Heart Station has processed
• Efficiently and correctly files departmental reports
• Promptly reports to appropriate persons malfunction of equipment
• Demonstrates conservative use of department supplies
• Contributes to a neat and orderly work environment
• Efficiently coordinates scheduling of Heart Station services with the physician, patients, families and other departments
• Performs other related duties as the need arises.
Qualification
• Must possess at least a Bachelor's/ College Degree in the medical field.
• Demonstrates essential qualities which support patient focused care
• Familiarity with conducting ECGs and supporting treadmills, heart monitors and device checks.
Requirements
Minimum education level: Bachelor ́s Degree
1 year of experience
