This job is responsible for designing and implementing recruiting strategies for the company. The Head of Talent Acquisition is responsible for managing full life cycle recruitment in sourcing the best talent for FWD Philippines, both Corporate and Bancassurance hiring, as well as maintaining effective programs for attracting and retaining talents, and promoting the company's employee value proposition.
Some of its key responsibilities include:
. Building talent pipelines for current and future job openings
. Leading all sourcing strategies
. Managing our external partnerships with colleges, job boards and HR software vendors
1. Recruitment Strategy
Serve as a business partner with hiring managers to develop effective sourcing and recruitment strategies that result in client satisfaction.
Develop effective relationships within the organization and the hiring community to have influence and impact the recruiting process and hiring.
Identify the organization's needs, create and implement an efficient talent acquisition strategy to improve recruitment and business performance.
2. Recruitment Administration
Build talent pipelines for current and future job openings
Lead all sourcing strategies
Manage our external partnerships with colleges, job boards and HR software vendors
Implement online and offline employer branding activities
Prepare and review our annual recruitment budget
Oversee all stages of candidate experience (including application, interviews and communication)
Forecast hiring needs based on business growth plans
Manage, train and evaluate our team of recruiters
Participate in and host recruitment events to drive awareness of our company
Develop a network of potential future hires (e.g. past applicants and referred candidates)
Measure key recruitment metrics, like source of hire and time-to-hire
3. P&C Business Partner
Responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units.
Formulates partnerships across the P&C function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.
Maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition.
4. Team Development
Hire, develop, evaluate, reward, and retain a highly-qualified team of professionals.
Foster a culture of innovation, transparency and accountability in the team.
Develop, manage and maintain a highly-skilled team members, capable to address the talent acquisition requirements.
Develop and maintain a plan that provides for succession.
Knowledge and skills required:
A bachelor's degree is required.
An advanced degree in any related field or business (MBA) is preferred.
10+ years of broad HR experience including talent acquisition and management.
Demonstrable experience managing full-cycle recruiting and employer branding initiatives
Solid understanding of sourcing techniques and tools (e.g. social networks)
Recent experience recruiting in multiple discipline areas and levels, including hiring for nonexempt, exempt and leadership positions.
Previous experience in capturing metrics and producing various employment reports.
Experience in all areas of sourcing such as the internet, social media, networking, employee referrals, job postings, as well as conducting open houses and virtual job fairs.
Experience in working with applicant tracking systems and HRIS/MIS platforms
Good team-management abilities
Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster long-term relationships (with internal teams, external partners and candidates)
