Department: Research & DevelopmentJob PurposeThe R&D Head is responsible for directing the research and development initiatives within the pharmaceutical division. This role ensures the successful design, formulation, and development of pharmaceutical products while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and collaborating closely with QA and Production.Key Responsibilities
Lead the R&D team in designing, developing, and optimizing pharmaceutical formulations and processes.
Oversee laboratory research, product testing, stability studies, and technology transfer activities.
Collaborate with QA to ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements.
Develop innovative strategies to improve product efficacy, safety, and quality.
Manage budgets, resources, and timelines for R&D projects.
Mentor and train R&D staff to enhance technical capabilities and innovation.
Maintain awareness of industry trends, scientific advancements, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelors or Masters degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related field.
Minimum of 710 years of experience in pharmaceutical R&D, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of formulation, analytical testing, and pharmaceutical regulations.
Excellent project management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
