Job Description
 
Modifies Design of Component & Assembly Level 3D CAD Models
Participates in Design Review / Drawing Review / DR Review activities
Learns and performs Tolerance Analysis of low complexity-assemblies
Identifies Design or technical problems, either potential or a result of testing and evaluation
Contributes Design Concepts
Performs Product Testing and Evaluation to ensure compliance with Product Standards
Ensures proper maintenance / documentation of CAD files using PDMLink and Merlin
Performs Parts Testing and Evaluation to ensure compliance with Parts Standards
Prepares Evaluation, Test & Analysis Reports after performing evaluation and testing activities
 
Required Skills, Experience & Education:
 
BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering (Electromechanical Engineering)
With 3 - 5 years relevant or related experience in 3D CAD (Preferably Pro/Engineer (Creo)), documentation, design, development, and analysis.
Good problem solving and analytical skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office Tools
Works with less supervision
 
Desired Skills and Work Experience:
 
Intermediate knowledge in mechanical design and evaluation
Intermediate knowledge on sheet metal OR plastic design
Intermediate knowledge on testing and instrumentation
Intermediate DFX skills: component & assemblies
Intermediate knowledge on product development processes
Intermediate knowledge on technical documentation content (component & assembly level) and tools
Intermediate proficiency in design-aid tools
Intermediate troubleshooting skills
