GUIDANCE COUNCELOR
 
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Creates, develops and oversees a guidance and counselling program designed to allow students to voice concerns without fear of punishment or judgement. 
Develops and implements an all-encompassing educational and counseling plan with modern methods of teaching and mentoring.
Fosters equal opportunity practices and encourages students' association. 
Pays attention to cultural or societal differences in dealing with the students. 
Conducts group or individual counseling sessions to assist students with problems or concerns. 
Assesses students' attributes and helps them realize their strengths. 
Evaluates the progress of students and reinforces the sense of accomplishment. 
Identifies behavioral problem or at-risk students and acts appropriately to remedy situations. 
Do other Guidance counselor related works.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Registered Guidance Counselor 
A graduate of Psychology or another relevant field
Preferably with master's degree in Guidance and Counseling 
Experienced handling at least 1000 student population
At least 3 years' work experience. 
Willing to start immediately.
