PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To perform all ground service equipment inspection, repairs, and all daily activities related to ground service equipment activities
JOB DESCRIPTION
Accurate and on-time completion of all jobs cards.
Able to attend to unscheduled breakdowns and repair with minimum delay
To carry out all necessary checks and inspections for all equipment and vehicles at the required intervals and in accordance with the company standards.
To carry out scheduled Preventive Maintenance as instructed for all equipment and vehicles in accordance with the quality and standards and in line with the stipulated intervals as per the Preventive Maintenance Program
Maintain a clean work environment and observe good housekeeping rules at all times
to diagnose, repair, and service the fleet of GSE and vehicles in accordance with the company work specifications.
Analyze, diagnose and repair electrical systems and integrated electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.
Able to respond to out-of-hours urgent calls when required including deployment in and outstations.
Promoting and driving a "Safety First" culture through all levels of the organization
QUALIFICATIONS
At least 20-35 years of age.
Physically fit to cope with the gravity of work with light to heavy workloads
At least 3 years experience as Auto Diesel Mechanic for light and heavy vehicles.
Knowledgeable in both manual and automatic transmission preferably overhauling
Able to read and understand European Electrical Design
Knowledge/experience in Electronics and basic instructions is an advantage.
with previous experience in handling GSE is an advantage
