Job Overview
Strategic management of the Accounting and Finance of 5 entities (PH and HK)
Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
Manage the month-end close process and the preparation of monthly accruals, journal entries, and account reconciliations of various G/L accounts in accordance with GAAP
Manage the Company's A/P process
Manage the Company's invoicing, revenue recognition, and AR processes
Payroll Management
Ensure monthly consolidation of Financial Statements
Cash Management
Ensure all tax-related compliance and issues are resolved
Compliance with established internal controls
Collaborate with auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance
Identify and manage opportunities for improvement in processes and systems, with a view towards scalable growth to meet anticipated demands
JOB QUALIFICATION
Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent work experience; CPA required,
Minimum 5-8 years of experience as a Head of Accounting and Finance or rapidly rising Senior-level Accounting and Finance leader ready for the next level
Strong, working knowledge of GAAP and IRFS
Working knowledge of Xero is required and other cloud-based software
Experience in working with external audit firms and managing deadlines
Proficient with Google Suite tools, especially Google Sheets
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication skills
Flexibility and willingness to pitch in with assorted tasks as they arise
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Hands-on management approach as necessary, and performing as part of the team
