Background:
The scope of work may involve retouching, reworking or fixing the design, customising typography, colour balancing, resizing documents and eliminating any inconsistencies. You'll have a great eye for detail and will be able to spot potential problems with designs.Your designs can be used across a range of formats and channels, including digital design and graphics for websites, e-marketing and digital media, as well as print.
You'll be involved in the project from start to finish and will work closely as part of a creative team to ensure that the artwork meets the needs of the client's brief and any brand guidelines.The role is closely related to the work of a graphic designer.
Responsibilities
Using expert skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator)
Providing skilled and technically precise input and support to an agency or design studio
Liaising with external printers and acting as a point of contact for the artwork department of the studio or company
Must have good knowledge of layers, pathfinding tools.
Artworking
Needs the ability to take the customers logo/artwork and set up on a proofing sheet.
All artwork must be prepared and saved in the correct format for print, issues with the customer's artwork must be raised to the sales team.
Correcting and formatting documents before they're sent to the printers
Imposing variable print files for digital print
Being flexible enough to learn more about unfamiliar subjects as required

Skills You'll need to be able to demonstrate:
Ability to create visual concepts
Knowledge of the whole Adobe Creative Suite and programmes like Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
Strong layout and typography skills
Confident using the latest DTP software, working with both Macs and PCs
Good communication skills to engage with designers and printers
Collaborative skills to work closely with senior account managers and account executives as well as your clients
Great progress reporting skills at every stage of the design and artwork process
Skills in archiving images and artwork
Creative flair and an eye for design
Strong organisational skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Ability to work well to deadlines
