Job Description
To create visual concepts, using computer software or by hand, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate consumers. They develop the overall layout and production design for applications such as logos, corporate branding, banners, brochures, posters, publications, magazines, and annual reports. Expertise is Branding.
Job Duties:
· Prepares work to be accomplished by researching and gathering information
· Generates original concepts to be supplied to clients
· Illustrates multiple concepts and designs in a basic layout of art and copy including content arrangement, size, typography and style and related graphics
· Clearly communicates concepts to clients and seeks feedback and comments
· Works cohesively with client to obtain concept and artwork confirmation
· Supplies all relevant and requested artwork files for client in specified formats
· Prepares final artwork files with fonts, typesetting, print bleed and editable files
· Supply recommended printing specifications for client upon request for completed projects to ensure output is consistent with concept and design
· Obtain knowledge about printing and print specifications to ensure delivery of artwork is within the client expectations.
· Maintains technical knowledge by expanding design knowledge through online tutorials and courses, workshops, reviewing professional publications
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Skills & Qualifications:
· Design programs Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Video Premier
· Microsoft Office
· Branding Strength
· Freestyle Design
· Content Writing
· Can provide portfolio of work
· Creativity
· Attention to detail
· Deadline-orientated
· Desktop publishing tools
· Organized
· English spoken / writing
· Comfortable with changes and comments on their works
