Graphic Designer (With Web Design Experience)
What are we looking for:
We are searching for a passionate Graphic Designer with a fine eye for detail, looking to make full use of their creative talents, whilst playing an integral role in the operations of an Australian based company.
You will be working with an Australian company whose aim is to continue to provide their customers with world class products and technologies at the most competitive prices. Their products are focussed on concrete related construction, and their target customers range from engineers and architects to site contractors and builders working on projects as small as residential construction upt to billion dollar tunnels and bridges. They are looking for someone who is proficient in graphic design, but also has skills in HTML and preferably Wordpress.
Beyond your experience, we are also looking for someone who is professional and possesses impeccable English language communication skills in both written and verbal.
This role is 100% work from home.
In this role, you will:
All the product images based on requirements
Product labels and packaging
Generate technical documents based on agreed templates
Generate marketing documents (printed and for email campaigns)
Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
Amend designs after feedback
Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule
Be able to organize, store and upload and completed files on relevant servers including their website
Liaise with other team members internal to the organisation as well as external internet consultants from time to time.
About You:
Core qualifications:
Bachelors or equivalent degree in Graphic Design or related discipline and 3+ years of work experience in a related field, undergrads with relevant experience are welcome.
Experienced in Graphic and Design; and Web Design (HTML and Wordpress)
Proficiency and expertise with different designing tools and software.
Proficiency working with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and XD) and Corel Suite (Draw, Photo-Paint etc)
Experience in other software experience such 3D modelling is a big plus (Autocad, Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks etc)
Industrial Design experience is an advantage.
Ability to work methodically and meet tight deadlines
A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
Expertise with web marketing designing practices.
