Roles and Responsibilities
The Graphic Designer will provide creative input, design, development and execution of corporate materials. Materials will include product packaging, point of sale, planograms and other related materials.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES:
- Gather data, information and materials necessary to prepare for upcoming projects and deadlines that you are assigned to.
- Develop, design and layout concepts based on notes, presentations, style guides and other provided materials. This will include the creation of deadlines for product packaging requirements.
- Illustrate, augment and/or design concepts with rough layouts.
- Gain design approval through the submission of rough arrangements and layouts with appropriate project stakeholders.
- Edit and produce final layouts for final approval to agreed deadlines and agreed expectations.
- Prepare finished copy or final layouts for packaging and pre-press production.
- Oversee the correct printing of packaging and other materials including troubleshooting and facilitating appropriate solutions. This will include proofreading and detailed checking of materials to ensure the right results.
- Complete projects by coordinating with project stakeholders and external parties such as vendors, printers etc
- Maintains and improves technical skills and knowledge through design workshops and reviewing professional publications etc.
- Any other design tasks as required.
Required Experience
- Equivalent level of experience in graphic design (portfolio from the past 12 months is required)
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, industrial design, or interior design is desired
- 3 years' experience in designing, developing and executing corporate materials.

- Strong attention to detail with the ability to methodically ensure all aspects of complex plans are methodically and accurately executed.
- Ability to take ownership of outcomes required to ensure a high-quality result that is delivered per the brief and to agreed timelines for each project.
- Personal awareness, confidence and organisation to manage personal work output to deliver effectively and efficiently on assigned projects.
- Ability to generate high levels of energy with a focus on results and success.

Proficient with
- Graphic design software including CS Suite (Cloud-based) – InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, CAD
