Duties and Responsibilities:
Project Design Outputs
• Provide professional design consultancy and advice on projects to all stakeholders
• Manage and complete proofs, layouts and production files from concepts to completion
• Demonstrating illustrative skills and working on layouts ready for print
• Think creatively and develop new ideas, design concepts, graphics and layouts
• Exhibit creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software
• Display a professional approach to time, costs and deadlines while proofreading to produce accurate, error free and high-quality outcomes
• Work with a range of media to keep up to date with emerging technologies
• Prioritise and manage workflow to ensure the objectives and deadlines are achieved within the constraints of budget and time
• Understanding the production process to be able to set up print files, cut files and router files for manufacturing
• Develop creative design solutions to support sales targets for the company's products and services
• Design and prepare various marketing collateral in line with the company's brand guidelines
• Create and develop advertising and promotional content across a range of the company's products and services
Customer Service
• Meet with clients to discuss the business objectives and requirements of the job
• Develop design briefs that suit the client's purpose
• Confirm appropriate media to meet the client's objectives
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries
• Provide product and services information as required

• Compliance with all legislative and company guidelines, processes and policies
• Take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and others
• Act responsibly and perform your work in accordance with safety standards applied and directions given by your Manager, the regulations or relevant codes of practice (if applicable)
Qualifications and Experience:
• Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design or Commercial Arts
• At least 1 to 3 years of Signage experience
• Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign)
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Highly developed computer literacy, particularly with common Office applications, including database management
• General product knowledge
• Highly organised with demonstrated ability to efficiently and effectively manage, prioritise and execute multiple tasks and be able to meet deadlines
• Creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
• Capacity to solve problems by being collaborative, creative and analytical
• Ability to focus on customers' needs at all times
• Graphic Design practices within a manufacturing/construction business would be ideal
• Knowledge of heavy and light metal fabrication i.e.aluminium and steel would be nice to have
