We are seeking a member of our team who has a strong desire to grow with the business needs and processes of SOS as GRAPHIC DESIGNER
 
Responsibilities:
Edit raw clips and video footage into high-quality finished products for social media
Use After Effects to create a variety of animations and effects
Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
Develop designs to be used across various forms of media
Study design briefs and determine customer requirements
Provide accurate estimates of design costs directly to customers and to our internal teams
Schedule customer and internal projects and ensure that all design deadlines are met
Communicate effectively (by phone and email) with customers in relation to design briefs and job requirements
Communicate effectively (by phone and email) with internal teams in relation to job requirements
Conceptualize and present design concepts based on a provided brief
Ensure that final designs are visually appealing, on-brand, and highly refined
Requirements and Skills:
Proven graphic design and video editing experience
A detailed understanding of typography, particularly for use in books and publications
A comprehensive portfolio of previous graphic design and video editing work
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premier Pro, After Effect, Acrobat)
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
Exceptionally attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with other designers
Strong attention to detail and ability to proofread and edit content for accuracy, grammar, and consistency.
Willing to work on a day shift and holidays
Willing to start immediately
