BRUTUS FOOD SYSTEMS, INC. started in April 1980 as a burger junction.
 
The first store was opened in Fairmart, downtown Colon, Cebu City, and was situated in the newest department store.
 
It was a simple bright, attractive and clean store, vending reasonably priced, but good food to its customers. Through the years more food products were introduced, including the popular hamburger steak and fried chicken line that we carry now. Today, Orange Brutus is well known for its healthy and nutritious food. Its unique charbroiling process ensures that meat products are low in cholesterol, and are never pre-cooked. And only the freshest fruits go into its thirst-quenching fruit shakes devoid of any preservatives.
 
The company has certainly made its mark in the heart of the Cebuanos with its involvement in various socio-economic projects. It was one of the first institutions to employ handicapped and hearing-impaired people, and for which the company received a special award as one of the model private institutions of the city. Moreover, the company is also known for its strong belief in God and its commitment to the spiritual growth of its employees.
