Job Description Job Profile Description The Graphic Artist / Desktop Publisher will perform layout/design production requirements for print, web, and other graphic design-related purposes delegated by the Canadian Business Unit. Key Accountabilities Design/Editing Layout and design collaterals which are based on the Business Unit's instruction brief. Layout text-heavy documents based on the company's brand guidelines. Edit collaterals according to feedback. Collaboration Work with the Creative Manager, other Graphic Designers, and Account Managers to meet clients' needs. Project Management Estimate time required to complete the task Oversee the production phase Observe project deadlines and track progress Minimum skills requirement to hire: Basic qualifications At least 3-5 years' experience as a Layout Artist or Desktop Publisher Experience in using Adobe Creative Design Suite (InDesign, Acrobat, Illustrator, etc.). Experience In using Microsoft Office Applications/tools (Word, Excel, etc.) Experience in creating PowerPoint presentations Knowledge in Print Production Fundamentals is a must Solid communication (listening, speaking, and writing) and organizational skills Online Design Portfolio is required for submission and assessment Additional qualifications Experience working with International clients is a plus Worked on a BPO environment is an advantage Positive and collaborative team member Performs well under pressure Accurate and detail-oriented Adaptable and flexible with priorities Open to learn new strategies and programs for innovation and inclusion If you are ready to unleash your potential, it's time to start your career with Manulife/John Hancock.
