Gamot Cogon Waldorf School was founded in 2005 and is in its 15th year. The school is non-stock, non-profit and non-sectarian and offers kindergarten to Grade 12. The school currently has an enrollment of 285 students. Average class size is 20-25 students.
Job Description
Gamot Cogon Waldorf School is actively looking for new teachers to join our community for School Year 2021-22! If you love teaching, have experience working with children and students, you might want to apply to join our school community! The grade school teacher will typically work with one grade level and is expected to teach all subjects, working out of the Steiner/Wadorf pedagogical approach. The position necessitates a person with skills in music, art and movement. Applicant should also be willing to undergo training and be willing to familiarize themselves with the innovative Steiner Waldorf curriculum and teaching methods. You will be joining a dynamic group of educators who are passionate about changing the world through Steiner Waldorf education. The school is located in Brgy. Libongcogon, Zarraga, Iloilo and serves students and families from Iloilo City and all surrounding towns in Iloilo Province. We are 45 minutes from Jaro Plaza. There is a school bus that transports students/faculty to the school on a daily basis.
