Responsible for following the Ingram Micro chosen applications development standards and methodologies, works primarily on an independent basis within the guidelines given for delivery of technical work assignments. Educational Requirement: A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science and Math or related discipline with an IT emphasis is required. Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years' experience needed in the Basic Language, Function and/or Technologies pertinent to the position. Must have experience in Systems Analysis, Applications Development, Programming and Applications Maintenance & Support - as required by the position. Knowledge of Software Application Life-cycle processes such as defect tracking, automated build, requirements management, version control, continuous integration and code development best practices, and Project Management Methodologies.
