The Job
You will be responsible for :
Performing month-end close journal entry adjustments
Financial and management reporting and analysis
Accounting consolidation, account reconciliation and intercompany balane confirmation
Financial performance review of P&L and Balance Sheet accounts of the Division handled
Supporting the Record-to-Report & Consolidation (RTRC) Supervisor in the seamless migration of RTRC activities from the Division/s to the GSSC.
Preparing detailed process documentation of activities and assisting the Manager in training new Senior Accountants/ Accountants
Assisting the RTRC Supervisor in maintaining good working relationships with customers & counterparts, ensuring sound resiliency plans including a backup system and its documentation as well as rolling out continuous improvement initiatives
Ensuring compliance to internal controls and SOX, the Company's policies and procedures, and with the accounting principles and standards.
The Profile
You are a BS Accounting Graduate and a Certified Public Accountant.
You have at least 3 years of general accounting, financial and management reporting, and consolidation, of which at least 1 year is in consolidation.
You possess sound practical knowledge of IFRS, applicable GAAP, taxation laws, and/ or SOX.
You ideally have experience in working in an SSC environment and have exposure to process migration and process improvements projects.
You have solid practical knowledge and experience in ERP applications (JDE, SAP) and consolidation tools (HFM, Hyperion, Essbase)
You demonstrate advanced Excel skills. Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Exposure to a process improvement tool (e.g., Lean Six Sigma), an advantage
You are highly detail-oriented with good time management skills to thrive in a transitioning, high-pressure environment
You have a customer-oriented mindset and excellent interpersonal skills
Good written and verbal communication skills are required
