Position: General Manager - Construction Management
 
Job Summary
 
We are seeking an exceptionally qualified and results-driven General Manager to provide solid, strategic leadership for our Construction Management Division. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all large-scale projects, driving operational excellence, ensuring stringent regulatory compliance, and maximizing profitability across the portfolio. This executive role requires a seasoned leader capable of translating strategic vision into executable project management frameworks, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of quality, safety, and governance. This is a critical leadership appointment responsible for shaping the future capabilities and market position of the firm.
 
Required Qualifications and Experience
 
Executive Leadership and Management
Experience: A minimum of 15 to 20 years of verifiable, solid leadership experience in executive or senior management roles, with a dedicated focus on comprehensive Construction Management and project delivery.
Strategic Oversight: Proven track record in managing P&L, resource allocation, contract negotiation, and developing long-term operational strategies for a construction organization.
Regulatory Expertise (Mandatory): Must possess a deep, working knowledge of local laws and public works protocols.
Specialized Construction and Government Experience
Public Works Background (Highly Preferred): Previous, significant professional experience as a District Engineer or Chief of Construction within the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) or a similar government infrastructure agency is strongly preferred.
Project Execution: Demonstrated mastery in managing complex infrastructure, civil, horizontal and vertical construction projects from conceptualization through successful execution and handover.
Technical Acumen: Licensed Civil Engineer or related field is mandatory, with advanced technical expertise in construction methodologies, quality control, cost management, and risk mitigation.
Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to navigate complex political, governmental, and private sector stakeholder relationships crucial for project approvals and execution.
