Job Description
The General Ledger Associate is responsible processing GL transactions including but not limited to fixed asset transactions, accruals, recharges, prepayments/amortization, other month-end activities, preparation of audit requirements. He/She is required to apply appropriate internal controls in compliance to company policies and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Educational Qualifications
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy
Must be a CPA. RELEVANT EXPERIENCE Technical and Soft Skills
With at least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Possess a strong knowledge with PFRS.
Meticulous, pay attention to details and results oriented;
Ability to work independently and handles multiple tasks well, in a fast paced, professional environment;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and high volume transactions.
Good knowledge with excel and knowledge of Netsuite is preferred.
