Job Description
Operate hand equipment and power equipment such as skid loaders, tractors, and excavators
Using hand and/or power tools or equipment to perform wide range of landscape and irrigation duties
Installing mortar less segmental concrete masonry wall units
Driving company vehicles, tractors, and/or equipment. Operating Mini-X, Trencher Back Hoe, Forklift, Skid Steer and Skip Loader
Trims, prunes, cuts, and/or plants flowers, bushes, as part of groundskeeping activities
Seeds, water, weeds, fertilizes lawns, flower beds, shrubs
Sprays lawns, flower beds, shrubs with fertilizer, pesticides, herbicides
Performs related duties as emptying rubbish barrels
Assists in snow removal operations by operating light trucks, snow blowers, power shovels, shovels
Qualifications:
A minimum of 1 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Agriculture or similar fields.
At least 1-year experience in a landscaping or grounds keeping role.
Must be able to operate maintenance equipment including lawnmowers, leaf blowers, and hedge trimmers
Can conduct general maintenance duties such as cleaning walkways, fixing fountains, and other duties
Strong knowledge of pest management and basic lawn maintenance.
High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Good stamina and physical health.
Must have experience in planting, transplanting and maintaining flowers, plants, and greenhouse and nursery stock
Must know about installing rock gardens and operating and maintaining watering systems
Verifiable commercial irrigation experience. Can be able to work in all seasonal weather conditions
