1. Supervises regular accounting processes such a A/P, A/R and Journal entries.
2. Prepares and submits reports to regulatory agencies such as BIR and SEC. This includes timely filing of Tax Returns and SEC Reports.
3. Analyzes different general ledger accounts regularly.
4. Monitors and records collections. This includes following up past due accounts.
5. Issues official receipts and maintain filing in accordance to Accounting's policy.
6. Provides support to Accounting Manager for the auxiliary schedules for auditing purposes.
7. Ensures accounting policies and standards are effectively implemented.
8. Recommends process improvements and control implementations.
9. Ensures complete and correct documents for disbursement process.
10. Conducts monthly and annual inventory count or verification.
11. Performs other functions as maybe assigned by Accounting Manager.
Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/ College Degree, Professional License (Passed Board/ Bar/ Professional License Exam) in Finance/ Accountancy/ Banking or equivalent.
At least 4 years of working experience in the related field is required for the position.
Preferably 1-4 years experienced employee specialized in Finance - General/ Cost Accounting or equivalent.
Skills required:
CPA License
Computer literate; Good in Excel.
Knowledgeable with tax compliance
Knowledgeable in SAP System.
With exceptional analytical and organizational skills
Self-motivated and honest
Team player and willing to work in a team
