GENERAL ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR
Med Express Drugstore is the No 1 Hospital Out Patient Pharmacy and the First Delivery Service Drugstore in the country. In addition, Medexpress is the only drugstore in the country that provides Professional Pharmacy Services to ensure medication safety and to maximize patient health outcomes.
We are currently expanding our operation and we have urgent requirement for the position.
• Graduate of BS Accountancy & CPA Holder
• Attentive to details, analytical, and result oriented
• Possesses good interpersonal and communication skills
• Possess strong leadership skills
• Aptitude to learn quickly and effectively
• Works well in a team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to consistently meet specific, time sensitive business goals
• Positive interpersonal skills with proven ability to lead a team
• Excellent customer service, advance problem solving skills, and ability to adapt to change
• Strong organizational skills necessary with the ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
• 1-3 years supervisory or leadership experience
• Ability to maintain self control while defusing stressful customer situations
Duties and Responsibilities:
General Accounting
1. Review and Audit
2. Supervise the Month End closing activities
3. Prepare schedule for Critical BS Accounts for review with Finance Manager
4. Prepare/supervise preparation of schedules for Audit Requirements
5. Monitors Inventory and Accounts Payable
6. Review fixed asset lapsing schedule and lead fixed asset count and reconciliation.
Taxes
1. Monthly Filing thru Efps of Tax Returns
2. Review of dat files, GL Transactions, returns
3. Custody of Tax Related Documents
4. Prepare/Supervise preparation for BIR Audit Requirements*
5. Inquire/Coordinate SEC/BIR and other government updates affecting the business
