Description
The General Accounting Officer leads the execution and delivery of general accounting, general ledger maintenance and period-end closing, revenue, inventory and cost accounting, fixed asset maintenance, CAPEX accounting, financial analysis, and control account reconciliation processes.
Manages the month-end closing process
Prepares and consolidates balance sheet reconciliations, and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items
Owns the general ledger and other finance-related master data ensuring compliance with data governance policies and procedures.
Manages the external audits and the quarterly financial audits performed by internal auditors.
Provides support to the AP, Tax, and Financial Reporting Manager in the preparation of legal entity financial statements and notes disclosures, and other tax reporting requirements.
Provides support in Finance policy development and in the area of internal controls implementation and compliance, and process improvements.
Provides training to various stakeholders within the company on finance-related policies and procedures.
