For our client in Cebu City, we are looking for General Accountant who:
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyses variance on monthly expense.
Posts journal entries and closing month-end, quarter-end and year-end.
Posts and filing BIR (Expanded, Compensation, VAT and ITR) Monthly, quarterly and year-end.
Perform balance sheet account reconciliations, including cash, accrued interest and prepaid expenses.
Consolidates inter-company transactions and reconciliations.
Bank reconciliation.
Analyzes Balance Sheet and P&L accounts fluctuation.
Ensures accuracy of financial statements and compliance to internal policies.
Provides audit schedules and requested information for internal compliance and external audits within area of responsibility.
Ensures accurate processing of Accounts Payable Voucher for suppliers, commission, sub-con payroll and miscellaneous within set turnaround time.
Ensures completeness of required documents before processing.
Secures all Accounts Payable Voucher are properly monitor.
Ensures proper recording and logging of vouchers.
Ensures proper filing of documents.
Performs other job-related tasks that may be assigned by his/her immediate superior from time to time.
Qualifications
Graduate of BS Accountancy, preferably CPA.
Knowledge of General Accounting or in finance related work
Computer proficient in MS and Accounting System, Analytical Skills
Oral and Written Communications
Attention to details and organized
Generally in an office environment with minimal physical effort
