Job Summary
To provide back-end accounting support to a growing team of professionals focused on delivering high
quality service to global clients. You will be the face of the account in its drive to strengthen accounting
controls particularly in the general accounting, local tax and statutory reporting and consolidation scope.
You will work closely with management and key stakeholders in the organization and overseas
counterparts. This role is based in Angeles City, Pampanga.
Duties and Responsibilities
Will directly report to the Head of Finance. This role will support a premium Tech account with a
global presence. * Responsible for the recording of all accounting entries into the accounting system. Ensure the
completeness, timeliness and accuracy of all entries relevant to the account that he/she
supports. * Collaborate with the head office accounting team as part of the consolidated reporting process
such as but not limited to compliance to set deadlines on tax, remittances and other statutory
reporting requirements. * Will regularly interact with internal and external stakeholders, primarily focused on compliance
to existing company policies and all government and LGU-related transactions.
Provide accurate and timely responses to inquiries related to all government and LGU-related
transactions. * Perform regular and ad hoc analysis of historical record of accounts and recommend appropriate
actions as deemed necessary. * Assist the Head of Finance in conducting routine checks, dealing with auditors, in creating
reports and analyses on focus areas, both for internal control and management reporting
purposes. * Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Job Skills and Qualifications:
REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
Officer-Sr. Officer Level
With at least 5 years solid experience in general accounting, particularly in local finance setup.
With at least 5 years solid experience handling local tax reporting, government remittances, LGU
transactions and other statutory reporting requirements. * Highly proficient in working with spreadsheets (Google suite applications or Microsoft) and able
to maintain and develop reports as needed. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team under minimal supervision
Highly analytical and strong attention to details, organized and process oriented
Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in English
Willing to report on site based in Angeles City.
PREFERRED
Internal audit experience, CPA a definite plus
Relevant work experience in BPO industry
Previous experience using accounting software
