Roles and Responsibilities
Ensures that various business transactions are recorded in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Follow the set of internal accounting controls and guidelines for the accounting team, and for the company and its employees
Ensure regulatory compliance of the company
Prepare monthly Withholding tax and VAT reports
Bookkeeping
Payroll processing
Verifying financial statements, ledgers and accounts and making corrections where appropriate
Preparation of income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and companies
Financial reporting (Budgeting and Forecasting, Analysis, Reconciliations)
Providing accounting services to all areas of the business as necessary
Key Qualifications
Graduate of BS Commerce major in Accounting, BS Accountancy, or equivalent
At least 5 years work experience in general accounting
Knowledge and experience in GAAP
Has knowledge in BIR regulations and experience in handling BIR compliance and BIR audit
Well-adept in using Accounting System and other related software
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Certified Public Accountant is preferred but not required
