At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Knowledge and exposure to the retail industry
Knowledge of computers and familiarity with accounting software is also essential.
Job Descriptions:
Maintain financial reports, records and general ledgers; prepare and analyse budgets; and perform general book keeping.
Responsible for billing activities, such as accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Perform administrative duties such as maintaining schedule, providing telephone support, filing, transacription and the production of forms.
Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.
Ensure you comply with regulations by forwarding required information to federal, state and local authorities.
Prepare tax returns, payments, necessary paperwork and reports.
Assess and research difficult tax issues to identify solutions.
Determine tax savings and recommended strategies to improve profits.
Offer support and guidance during audits.
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
Perform other tasks deemed necessary by management.
