Global Compliance and Reporting is an integrated suite of Tax and Accounting services that EY provides to our multinational clients. GCR offers the ease of managing compliance & regulatory filings by:
Taking care of the complexity of regulatory affairs across multiple jurisdictions
Centrally managing the global compliance and reporting activities
Controlling the cost of managing compliance across various countries
Each client is referred to as an engagement and the GCS teamis responsible for ensuring the delivery as per the service level agreements. Globally, tax and accounts preparation activities are conducted mostly in the local countries and hence requires a wide network of EY professionals to work together to deliver to the client expectations. A central team (GCS) works with this global network of EY professionals to ensure client's compliance and reporting obligations across the globe are met on time. The GCS team project manages the engagement and together with the client facing teams in Americas, EMEIA and APAC forms the service management office for the client.
Your key responsibilitiesManage and grow the Tax Data Management team whose primary responsibilities are extracting data and monitoring data needs for tax return preparation. The individual will have work on developing efficiencies and automating the data extraction and data validation process, working on transitioning the data process to EY for new projects and ensure that the EY team's data needs are met. Being flexible and willing to adjust responsibilities to align with developing business needs.
Building business cases for Automation
Defining and enforcing data security and data governance policies
Delivering and expanding growth of their current business and customer retention
Publishing weekly reports to the leadership displaying the progress of the project
Demonstrating strong organizational skills and structured thinking abilities through project management
To qualify for the role, you must have:
Bachelors or master's degree, preferably Commerce or Business management
12 years' experience in a multi-cultural team environment in corporate world
Experience in any business Intelligence tool
Knowledge of data lifecycle management using technology
Ability to develop mapping file by converting business tax rules into technical requirement and automation experience/capability on data management
People management: Experience in handling a team of 20-35 people
Ideally, you'll also have
Proficiency in applying transformation logic in Alteryx
Good communication skills - both written and oral
Good problem solving and decision making by demonstrating strong interpersonal and analytical skills
Service Delivery and operations management
Risk & Issue management and Contract & SLA management
Stakeholder and Budget management
