The Global HAM Lead provides the leadership and foresight to build/maintain a leading-edge, world-class HAM program Hardware Asset Management (HAM) is responsible for the lifecycle of EY's IT HW assets (Acquisition through end of life). The underlying principle is to ensure complete and accurate IT asset information, enabling operational efficiency, as well as identifying opportunities for cost savings / avoidance and risk mitigation. Assume that the reader does not know the role or function of the job.) 10 years or more of IT Asset Management experience in a leadership role Excellent problem solving, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Proven success with leading diverse and geographically dispersed teams in a virtual environment Proven track record of driving continuous improvement, operational excellence and identifying opportunities to avoid/save costs and reduce risk Develops an open pipeline of communication with IT and business leaders in order to understand their business objectives Knowledge of IT service offerings, standards, policies, business strategies Superior communication skills with ability to present material clearly and concisely to senior and/or executive management Proven ability to lead the resolution of complex issues on a local/country/global basis Knowledge of ITIL Service Management processes Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities: (Describe the kind of problems and challenges typically faced, and decisions required to perform the job, as well as recommendations made to supervisors or others. Focus on the nature of existing policies, precedents and procedures used to guide decisions, and the degree to which the incumbent is free to make decisions requiring interpretation and judgment. Oversees the development of strategy, process alignment, performance measurement, training, and communications Ability to extend influence within team and across teams to achieve results Develops and drives Key Performance Indicators and aligns them with technology strategic goals Oversees analysis of the environment ability to identify potential points of failure, areas for improving administration, and identifying pain points and bottlenecks Supervision Responsibilities: (Describe the level of supervision received (i.e., the frequency of supervisory contact, degree to which the individual acts independently and on what kinds of issues). Describe the level of supervision of others, if any (i.e., assigning work, reviewing performance, direct or indirect responsibility).
