Job Description : Rank: Assistant Director Location: Manila Reports to: GDS Business Relationship Management (BRM) Leader Key responsibilities: * Manage the overall relationships between Enterprise Technology (ET) and GDS locations in APAC, Job Description : Rank: Assistant Director Location: Manila Reports to: GDS Business Relationship Management (BRM) Leader Key responsibilities: Manage the overall relationships between Enterprise Technology (ET) and GDS locations in APAC, recognizing how ET solutions can support each GDS location's unique challenges and strategies. These locations are China & Philippines. The relevant technology needs of the GDS customers (EY internally) must also be understood which can include Data Privacy and Residency regulations, etc. Serve as a key member of the GDS BRM leadership team to help evolve the strategic direction of ET in its support of the GDS. Serve as a key advisor for GDS Operational management in respect of relevant technology matters associated with business acquisitions and outsourcing. Understand the customer priorities, ideate on required future solutions and translate them into demand for ET products and services Identify gaps in ET solution offerings to inform and shape global solutions Maintain a close working relationship with ET delivery domains including EUTx, Compute & Application Management to coordinate consistent service delivery across all GDS locations Understand the GDS Technology risk landscape, the impact on the GDS if risks materialize and ensure appropriate disaster recovery plans and system resilience provisioning is in place. Maintain a close working relationship with Finance to manage budgets and deal with finance issues effectively Manage the surfacing and prioritization of demand according to customer priorities and ET delivery. Ensure solution formation is coordinated with relevant APAC ARM leaders in cases where GDS Technology solutions overlap with that of APAC technology landscape. Maintain a close working relationship with Support Experience team to assess and strengthen end-user satisfaction, engagement and adoption of ET solutions. Facilitate the development of marketing plans to promote ET as a partner across APAC GDS. Ensure service outages are monitored and the end user community and key business stakeholders are kept abreast of progress to resolve Maintain a close working relationship with Technology Procurement to direct and prioritize procurement needs of GDS as it relates to ET. Maintain a close working relationship with Risk Management and GCO in the Area to deal with Regulatory and Legal issues effectively Maintain a close working relationship with Office Products team in Compute domain to ensure seamless Technology provision associated with office relocations, new buildouts, renovations, office closures and technology transformation projects. Direct the maintenance of a well-defined, accurate and complete asset register of all APAC GDS hardware and software being managed by ET domains. Direct the process to support ET in annual investment planning and capacity growth. Continuously gather the voice of the customer to further improve the overall customer experience for all ET products and services Work with Client Technology and InfoSec teams to share information on the specific needs, regulations and customs of all APAC GDS locations Qualifications, education and experience To qualify, candidates must have: 8+ years of experience in management positions in a business or IT role, demonstrating progressively greater responsibility A degree in information systems or related discipline or equivalent work experience A strong customer service orientation. An understanding of customer expectations gained through developing formal and informal relationships with customers Excellent executive presence and business acumen Strong people relationship and management skills with excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal English language skills Demonstrated ability to deliver presentations of complex financial and business information to a diverse audience Good understanding of the global technology market and associated regulations, and ability to bring knowledge of this to help facilitate the growth and integration of EY across the Area. Specific knowledge of IT in emerging markets versus developed markets.
