Support & Service Management's mission is to provide high quality, cost effective L3 / L4 support that is aligned with the needs of the business. A key pilliar of this responsibility is to ensure that continuous service improvement is incorporated into the team processes, while being mindful of how the changing landscape by external teams can either directly or indirectly affect how services are delivered to the Global Assurance Business. Performing effective and efficient stewardship of the infrastructure production environment
both on and off prem to maintain high availability of services and risk mitigation is critical. Providing consistent service delivery, performing timely restoration of services and reducing the number of end user impacting issues is a goal. The Assurance Infrastructure Stability Lead is responsible for ensuring smooth operational delivery of Assurance Technology Production Services. You will start by focusing on the operational stability of the Assurance business line, directly interacting with operational teams to increase availability and reduce customer impacting events. You will have a wide view of our operational support, challenging the status quo, increasing resiliency where justified and adding safeguards for preventative incident management. The role requires excellent organization skills, knowledge of infrastructure services that the Global Assurance technology platforms rely on and strong relationships with both internal and external service providers. A technical knowledge of project management
and implementation related stages, i.e. initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control and close software deployments is required. Proficiency in Infrastructure Services, such as Networking, Load Balancing, Active Directory, DNS, Storage, HyperConverged Infrastructure, SQL Database, Backup services and Monitoring Telemetry are also required. The role is responsible for understanding the various initiatives (New Technologies, Changes, Retirements, etc) that Infrastructure teams have underway and foresee potential impacts that these may have on the Assurance Portfolio of Applications and challenging those with concerns. By developing relationsips and understanding road maps, this will help to ensure you are in the know when complex initatives are surfaced. Our applications are utilized by over 150k internal users and 300k+ client users and support more than 40% of the firm's revenue.
