The opportunity To lead the entire resource management, scheduling and deployment function for assigned Service Line and bring in best practices and consistency of processes across different SSLs. This role will be responsible for enabling diversified experiences for our people through consistent approaches followed within the organization. Your key responsibilities This role will be expected to provide strategic thought leadership, drive exceptional client service, liaise with senior management & GDS leadership on experience management decisions, lead deployment strategies and drive compliance to EM guidelines across SSLs. Skills and attributes for success Lead the SSL Experience management leads on all resource planning aspects listed in the roles and responsibilities document. Assist the GDS Experience management leader in the integration of GDS EM function through implementation of common tools, consistent methodologies and efficient processes. Lead complex projects related to planning and resource scheduling. Drive the organization's resource optimization initiatives within his/her Service Line. Supervise and lead the budget/capacity and HC planning exercise in liaison with the SL Operations and SL client serving team. Includes, SSL/SL Operations reviews and consolidation of the finalized plans. Contribute to long term business strategies through creation of advanced capacity/headcount and financial business models. Monitor the health of the business, track key metrics, analyse trends and provide analytical support to the team and stakeholders. Manage internal and external stakeholders through functional knowledge and expertise. Drive opportunities for process improvement/re-engineering and change management through effective process and people strategies. Develop a strong business continuity framework within the team. Lead people engagement and people development activities to create a positive work environment for the team. To qualify for the role, you must have Graduates/Post Graduates with more than 8+ years of relevant work experience in resource planning, capacity planning, scheduling and forecasting is mandatory. Experience on resource management tools and scheduling techniques is mandatory. Minimum 8 years of experience in supervising large teams will be mandatory. Experience in cross location/virtual team management is preferred. Experience in business transition, analytical and process re-engineering projects will be preferred. Ideally, you'll also have Self-motivated professionals with strong people management skills. Strong project management, stakeholder management and leadership skills. Adept at change management, catalyst for process improvement initiatives. Strong focus on meeting timelines and delivering highest quality service. Strong functional domain knowledge and data analytical skills. Prior experience in leading scheduling/staffing projects will be preferred. Ability to motivate and lead a large team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
