Job Description
Inspect furniture to identify damages or structural issues that need repair, including cracks, splits, scratches, or loose joints.
Repair or replace broken or defective parts using hand tools, adhesives, and power tools.
Sand, stain, and polish furniture surfaces to restore or enhance appearance.
Reupholster furniture by replacing fabric, springs, padding, and webbing as needed.
Apply finishing touches, such as varnish, lacquer, or paint, to achieve the desired aesthetic effect.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
Male applicants are preferred for this role.
Proven experience as a Furniture Repairer or in a related role.
Proficiency in using hand tools (e.g., saws, chisels, screwdrivers) and power tools (e.g., drills, sanders).
Knowledge of wood properties, upholstery techniques, and finishing materials.
