POSITION: FURNITURE DESIGNER (GOOD SALARY WITH COMMISSIONS PACKAGE)
 
Qualifications and Experience:
*  Bachelor’s degree in architecture, furniture, or interior design or equivalent.
*   Minimum five-year work experience as furniture designer
* Must have experience as an Auto Cad operator, or knowledgeable in Auto Cad 2D and 3D, or other related programs or has a background in architecture / interior designing, or a position of similar tasks and responsibilities.
* Have technical, practical and structural knowledge
*   Demonstrates positive attitude towards work, resourceful, and hardworking
*   Has the ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and professionalism
* Knowledge in wood furniture making is a plus
*   Must be punctual and willing to work overtime to meet deadlines
 
*   Job Description:
 
*   Designers will work with many different types of materials including wood, metal, suede, leather, capiz, abaca, rattan, glass, ceramic, etc.  Must have knowledge of these materials and knowing tips and techniques on how to properly handle them and blend into unique and popular design
*   Can also take old pieces of furniture and design a way to restore it and update the look of it to fit with current trends.
*  Supervise and follow up the sample makings of own designs
