About the Client:
The client is an Australian-based market leader in video production that specializes in online video content. Their point of difference is the use of technology to help their clients make the most of their services. The client has a number of in-house applications, some that manage the entire end to end video production process, while others generate thousands of videos on the fly.
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to grow as a core member of a development team, learning and influencing those around them. You would be working with developers in Australia and with an already established team at ZigZag where the learning potential is endless. With a focus on building new platforms, with new and latest technologies, the team offers an opportunity for the right person to be building tools for customers and staff to use daily and into the future.

Previous experience building platforms with cutting edge technologies
An excellent communicator
Strong problem solver
Have fantastic attention to detail
Excellent critical thinking
Focus on quality code
Must have 3-5 years of experience in the following:
Laravel PHP
Vuejs
HTML
JAVASCRIPT
CSS
MySQL
PHP
Version Control experience (GIT)
Agile Practitioner
(Advantage) We'd really love for you to talk to us if you have any of the following experiences:
Automated testing
PHP unit testing
Code review best practice
MVC Experience
AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, SQS)
REST API
Hubspot CMS
Vagrant and homestead experience
CSS Preprocessor. SASS desired
Experience with Queue based system
Knowledge of scalable web application
Secure coding practices
