Looking to join a dynamic and passionate team where you can take your SEO career to the next level? We are seeking a passionate, highly skilled and experienced Technical SEO Specialist to join our growing search marketing agency based out of Sydney, Australia.
 
As a Technical SEO Specialist, you will play a vital role in optimizing all technical website factors that improve the online presence of our clients, as well as safeguarding our clients' rankings and traffic during website refreshes and new design & content launches.
 
You will also be heavily involved in CMS migrations, site architecture expansion implementations, monitoring and measuring performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEM Rush, and other advising on improving site load speed and technical UX factors, and
 
You will be involved in ongoing SEO campaigns as well as planning optimised websites from scratch, working collaboratively with designers, developers, and copywriters to launch or refresh websites for our ambitious clients.
 
This is a full-time work-from-home position with rapid career and salary progression for the right candidate.
 
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive website audits to identify technical SEO issues, including crawlability, indexability, site speed, and mobile optimisation.
Develop and implement effective strategies to optimise website architecture, URL structures, and internal linking for improved search engine crawling and indexing
Planning new web pages using optimal header hierarchies
Collaborate with web developers to implement your technical SEO recommendations such as schema markup, robots.txt, and canonical tags
Assist with migrations of websites from a technical perspective
Monitor and analyse website performance using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMRush to identify areas for improvement and track keyword rankings, organic traffic, and user engagement metrics
Provide guidance and support to content creators and web developers to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into new and existing website content
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and algorithm updates to ensure compliance and implement best practices
Track and report on SEO performance metrics, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement
About You
 
You will be a passionate and ambitious SEO professional with a strong desire to see website traffic and conversions grow as a result of your work. Innovative, self-motivated, and highly organized with the ability to prioritize workloads, you have a high level of attention to detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You're a team player, but you also have the ability to be proactive and work independently and make your own recommendations to the team.
 
You will also have:
3+ years of proven experience in a dedicated SEO role with a track record of successfully improving organic rankings for websites.
Strong knowledge of SEO principles, practices, and techniques.
Excellent attention to detail with a drive to deliver exceptional quality work
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and website development principles
Up-to-date knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking factors
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with other SEO professionals, web designers, and web developers
The ability to self-manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a highly organized manner
