We're looking for a creative thinker with sharp writing, editing, and proofreading skills; who can write high converting email copy for our e-commerce clients --- from fashion, cosmetics, health, tech and other industries. Our copywriter will work closely with the accounts and design teams to brainstorm ideas, create concepts, and develop messaging. Thorough research will be required to understand each client's industry, products/services, branding, and marketing goals. He must be a quick learner with a versatile and creative writing style, meets deadlines, and is tech-savvy, resourceful and analytical. Objectives of this Role
Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload often requiring short turnaround times
Continually raise the bar on creativity and in writing fresh copy that connects with the desired audience and drives action
Comfortably vary one's voice, style, and other characteristics demanded by the industry, company, or target audience at hand
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of communication and client-related industry trends
Stay updated on appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistency in messaging
Responsibilities
Deliver original copy for blog articles, ebooks, case studies, email content, ad campaigns, texts and other ad-hoc content as necessary.
Use SEO practices to optimize articles and increase visibility
Liaise with Designers to enrich written content with visual aids, like images and charts
Collaborate with the Fulfillment team in gathering data to support content pieces
Abide by the content production calendar
Interpret creative briefs to develop and produce creative, content concepts through execution on assigned brands
Research and understand the client's needs and target audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with subject matter experts, and in-person meetings
Collaborate with a team of account managers and creative staff from concept development to delivery of final product
Present copy concepts and final deliverables to internal team, and to client representative as needed, and participates in client pitches on occasion
Revise copy based on internal and client feedback/direction
Requirements
At least 2 years experience in Copywriting
Proven experience as a Copywriter or in a similar role
Experience with Digital Marketing in general
Strong understanding of SEO guidelines
Basic understanding of HTML and web publishing
Social media or content marketing experience a plus
Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides a plus
Proficiency and/or background with content management systems, WordPress, Google Sheets, Klaviyo, etc.
A keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design
Direct experience with social media management
Experience with B2B and B2C market industries
Advanced and solid writing and editing skills in English
