full-time assistant Accountantoutsourced

The Assistant Accountant will be reporting directly to the CFO and will assist in taking the company's financial operations and functions to the next level. You will be responsible for providing effective finance, tax and accounting support to the business operations and Finance department; specifically in the financial accounting, statutory reporting, and banking areas.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Accounts receivables - billing, collection forecast, chasing overdue payments and reviewing client accounts against credit limits
Accounts payable - posting of invoices, payables aging reports and payment proposals
Staff expense reimbursement
Daily bank reconciliations
Data and cost analysis
Assisting the CFO by ensuring all invoices are correctly approved, allocated and entered
Assisting the CFO in their tasks and deliverables related to month end processing, reporting, reconciliations, taxation and compliance
Ad hoc tasks
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Minimum five years' experience in a finance role
Must have excellent written and spoken English, strong communication skills and highly organized
Positive work ethic and ability to work with a high level of autonomy
Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to prioritise and multitask
Demonstrated ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality
Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
Strong data analysis skills
Must be proficient in Xero and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday; Dayshift (Manila Time)
