FULL STACK SOFTWARE ENGINEER (.NET)
The Full Stack Software Engineer is responsible for building .NET applications using Visual Studio, C#, .NET Core, EF Core, SQL Server, and many other cutting-edge technologies to augment our CMS system and to build out our suite of digital engagement applications. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop these layers of our applications and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product while being a team player with a positive attitude is essential to our success.
Responsibilities:
Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
Design, build, and maintain efficient, secure, reusable, and reliable code
Integrated data storage solutions may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
Identify bottlenecks and bugs then devise solutions to mitigate and address those issues
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
Be an extension of the software development team while supporting other departments
Plan, prioritize, and schedule work
Requirements:
No less than 3 years of experience and strong knowledge of .NET Core, MVC, EF Core, LINQ, jQuery, and Web Service Clients
Proficient in C# with an expert knowledge of the .NET Framework
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
Strong understanding of UI/UX and web design using .NET Core and other frameworks
Skill for writing reusable libraries
Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
Knowledge of concurrency patterns
Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and developing reusable data objects
Experience with popular web application frameworks, including Oauth/OpenID, such as ASP.NET Identity
Passion for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code
Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
Experience creating database schemas that represent and support business processes and models
Basic understanding of Azure DevOps - Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Builds, & Artifacts
Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
Proficient understanding of code versioning and tools such as Git or SVN
eCommerce experience (catalogs, shopping carts, payment systems) desired
Java, Javascript, or PHP knowledge a strong plus
Working knowledge of client-sided frameworks such as Blazor would be helpful
