They are a gun at what they do. They possess the ability to fully understand the projects they are delegated and keep them on course by having a strong background and proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer in a similar environment. They have the ability to work with the IT Project Manager to deconstruct larger projects into components and distribute these components to other team members or external suppliers, if and when necessary, based on their own skill set and the skillset of others. They have strong communication skills, negotiation skills, and great attention to detail. Roles and Responsibilities Understand the requirements of time-critical projects under the guidance of the IT Project Manager on a technical level from concept through to delivery and deployment. Translating project requirements into blocks of tasks for you to work on and if necessary delegating tasks to other team members and external suppliers to work on. Managing task loads and reviewing your own work as well as assisting more junior members of the team. Software quality assurance (audits, code reviews, testing, etc). Ensure all code across projects is scalable, maintainable, and reusable where possible. A Successful Candidate Must Have Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer Experienced with e-Commerce Platforms Strong communication and negotiation skills Strong Expertise in PHP 7 (Required), Web APIs, RESTful API Experience using and strong understanding of PHP MVC frameworks (Laravel and/or Yii specifically) DevOps Experience (AWS): EC2, RDS, ECR, S3 bucket, CloudFront, Cloud Watch, Code Deploy, Route 53, etc Experience in HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScrip, jQuery & React and working with XML & JSON feeds Experience in Continuous Integration and version controlling GIT (Bit Bucket) Understanding and experience with Relational Database Design & Administration experience (MS SQL and MySQL) Experience with writing MySQL/MSSQL queries and reporting Managing and maintaining the Web Servers (Apache) Experience with docker, vagrant, homestead, etc Good understanding of eCommerce workflow The ability to perform accurately, effectively, and methodically under pressure.
