This candidate's primary responsibility will be to participate in the creation of new products, web applications and enhancements to existing products from concept to launch as part of a cross-functional project team. The Software Engineer's responsibility to the team is to design, implement, and test solutions that result in compelling, easy to use products. Sr. Software Engineer will be responsible for a demanding and rewarding variety of duties related to the development, enhancement, and delivery of an industry-leading product. The position expects an individual to be experience with databases and data-driven application systems, a history of working successfully in a flexible, upbeat approach to working with colleague.
Primary Responsibilities:
Design stable, reliable and effective databases
Provide data management support to users
Ensure all database programs meet company and performance requirements
Research and suggest new database products, services and protocols
Performs database server administration and associated daily administrative tasks
Monitoring, tuning, change control, scheduled tasks, backup jobs, recovery processes, alerts, and database storage needs for operational databases
Perform fault diagnosis, troubleshoot, and correct problems that occur within operational databases
Design and implement replication solutions for operational databases
Assists with designing, evaluating, and testing new database applications using MS SQL Server, MS Access, ADO.net, ASP.net and Visual Studio
Meets with internal and external clients to identify database requirements and develop appropriate solutions
Conducts solution testing to ensure that databases integrate smoothly into the current operational environment
Performs analysis of existing processes and procedures and makes recommendations when changes are required
Recommends system enhancements to maximize application efficiency
Providing trend analysis information to the I.T. Manager to allow informed decisions regarding resource management
Be able to write custom reports & stored procedures from relational databases
Using analysis and critical thinking skills to determine and assess the needs of the user and then create software to meet the requirements
Providing clear instructions to the project team, clearly explaining how the software works to the customer and being available to answer any questions that may arise using exceptional communication skills
Applying keen attention to detail and organization to work on numerous parts of a system or application at the same time while being accurate and thorough
Working well with others on the team of Designers, Developers and Programmers using effective interpersonal skills
Being able to efficiently identify and resolve issues that arise during the design, testing and maintenance processes using problem-solving skills
Other duties and projects as assigned

Required Qualifications:
6+ years of work experience as a Software Engineer
6+ years of experience in .Net Framework (MVC, API, Razor Pages), JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, HTML, CSS and SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS
Hands-on experience with SQL/PLSQL
Knowledge of software development and user interface web applications
In-depth understanding of data management (permissions, recovery, security, and monitoring)
Proven excellent analytical and organization skills
Proven ability to understand front-end users requirements and a problem-solving attitude
Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Cloud Knowledge & development experience
Knowledge of C# Programming Language, or other OOP Languages
Knowledge of Internet Information Services for Windows Server
Knowledge of EntityFramework (or other ORMs)
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Services, Function Apps, Microservices
Knowledge of React, Bootstrap, Angular
